CINNADOG: Althalos the Mad Optics Scientist!

Basically, he's a heavy. full-bearded male cinnadog who happen to be the mad scientist about optics and astronomy. He mains more on optics though.


Althalos is based on an actual sweet alcoholic beverage, Apple Cinnamon Sparkling Sangria.

I chose that because it contain cinnamon and I wanted to stay true to the name of that cinnadog specie.

I did a bit of research about an apple cider history, and apparently it was said to be introduced during the Norman Conquest, which it was during 11th century. The science during that time is known for their study and theories on lights, color, vision AND astronomy.
Another thing about 11th century, I've noticed that there are SOME men have full big beard in that time, and I want to give that to the cinnadog. I don't think I've seen any cinnadog with a beard, and I think that certainly would be very interesting!

He's a mad scientist because that's the kind of impression I get from the idea of a sparkling drinks. You know how it feel like to drink those carbonized drinks, and having them fizz pops all over inside of your mouth? I think that's just like how a mad scientist get excited over science! I can see him laughs excitingly (quite crazily, that I may add!) over something so little, such as how the light creates a rainbow spectrum once made through the glass.
